We are pleased to offer a new examination at IENA: the study of motor evoked potentials (MEP).

Often coupled with the study of somatosensory evoked potentials, this examination assesses the functioning of the central pyramidal motor pathway.

It is used for diagnostic purposes in the following indications:

• Spinal cord compression

• Spasticity

• Unexplained motor deficit

• Motor neurone diseases

The study of motor evoked potentials further enhances an already comprehensive technical platform:

• Limb EMG

• Phrenic nerve conduction study

• Facial EMG – Blink reflex

• Repetitive nerve stimulation ENMG

• Sudoscan

• Somatosensory evoked potentials study
